Editorial policy
You should know how a question gets published.
We write it, solve it, check the wording, and publish the correction if we missed something.
Original work
PrepArc questions are written from scratch. We do not reproduce questions, passages, figures, answer choices, or explanations from College Board exams or third-party question banks.
Review before publication
A question enters the public bank only after its wording, answer key, and explanation have been checked. Questions without a verifiable key are excluded from practice sessions. Nathan Fikadu is responsible for the final publishing and correction process.
Explanations
The explanation must justify the correct answer and address why the other choices fail when the format calls for it. Explanations remain free with the questions.
Difficulty labels
Easy, Medium, and Hard are editorial estimates, not score predictions. PrepArc checks labels against the number of reasoning steps, common traps, and student response patterns when enough data exists. A student can report a label that feels wrong from the question screen.
Published audit record
In July and August 2026, PrepArc reviewed all 593 live questions tagged Grammar, Rhetorical Synthesis, or Boundaries in batches of no more than 30. The review corrected 238 records, including ambiguous items, faulty explanations, weak distractors, and unsupported synthesis choices.
Reports and corrections
Anyone can report a problem from the question screen. We review the question, correct confirmed errors, and normally publish the change in the public update log.
