Terms of Service
Last updated June 20, 2026
These terms are a binding agreement between you and PrepArc (“PrepArc,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read them carefully. By using PrepArc, you agree to them.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using the PrepArc website, applications, and services (together, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and by our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and minors
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. The Service
PrepArc provides original practice questions, explanations, and study tools for the digital SAT. We offer a free tier and an optional paid “Premium” subscription. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
4. Accounts
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@preparc.app if you suspect unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time.
5. Premium subscription, billing, and auto-renewal
- Premium costs $9.99 per month (plus any applicable taxes) and is billed through our payment processor, Stripe.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
- You can cancel at any time from your account or the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your Premium access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds are handled as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- We may change subscription pricing prospectively. We will give notice of price changes before they apply to your next renewal.
6. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- copy, scrape, resell, redistribute, or publicly post our questions, explanations, or other content, except for your own personal study;
- share, resell, or provide access to your account or Premium benefits to others;
- reverse engineer, scrape in bulk, or use automated means to access the Service except as expressly permitted;
- interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe others’ rights.
7. Intellectual property
The Service and all content we provide — including questions, explanations, diagrams, text, software, and design — are owned by PrepArc or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own SAT preparation. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
8. No affiliation with the College Board; no score guarantee
SAT® is a trademark registered by the College Board. The College Board is not affiliated with PrepArc and does not endorse, sponsor, or review the Service. Our practice materials are original works and are not reproduced from any College Board exam. PrepArc is a study aid only. We do not guarantee any particular test score, score improvement, admission, or other outcome.
9. Third-party services
We rely on third-party providers (for example, Stripe for payments, Supabase for accounts and data storage, and Vercel for hosting). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the content is complete, accurate, or error-free, or that the Service will meet your requirements.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrepArc and its owner, operators, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. In all cases, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PrepArc and its owner and operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to first contact us at support@preparc.app so we can try to resolve it informally. If we cannot, the dispute will be resolved in the courts located in the governing jurisdiction, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue.
