About the score
Scores are estimates from PrepArc's own questions. They aren't official College Board scores.
We score the way the digital SAT does, with Item Response Theory. Each question's difficulty is our own rating, not measured from student results, so use the score as a guide.
College Board's practice tests in Bluebook are official, and they run in the same app as the real SAT. Take those too.

Common questions
Are PrepArc's SAT practice tests free?
Yes. All 10 tests, their scores, and every explanation are free. You need a free account to start one, so your place and scores are saved.
Are the practice tests adaptive like the real SAT?
Yes. In each section, your Module 1 results send you to an easier or a harder Module 2, the way the digital SAT does.
How accurate are PrepArc's practice test scores?
They're estimates. We score our own questions with Item Response Theory, the same kind of method College Board uses. They aren't official College Board scores.
How long does a PrepArc practice test take?
Each test takes 2 hours 14 minutes, plus a 10-minute break between Reading and Writing and Math. You can save and exit anytime and pick up where you left off.
Should I take Bluebook tests or PrepArc tests?
Take both. Start with College Board's official tests in Bluebook, then use PrepArc's for more full-length practice.
Do I need to download anything?
No. PrepArc's tests run in your web browser. College Board's official tests need the Bluebook app.
